This is a great toy! Bought it for my daughter last year (at 2 yrs of age), and, after a lot of use by herself and her friends (that are a few years older), the set still looks brand new. I love how it comes with two scoopers and cones--prevents bickering when more than one child wishes to play with it. It's educational in that you can count each scoop and ask the color/flavor of each scoop. Another excellent product by Melissa and Doug! :)

I purchased this ice cream parlor set for my 3 year old niece's birthday after reading all of the positive reviews on it. Her and her older sisters couldn't get enough of playing with the set. Even the adults got into it! This toy seems to be well made and the magnetic functionality makes this a cool and unique toy. I would definitely recommend this toy to kids of ages 10 and below.

This is a very simple item, but my 3-year-old granddaughter just loves it. The magnetic ice cream stacks in scoops on the cones and stays in place. She loves offering it to us, selling it, making different flavor combinations. It's a huge hit overall. It's good quality material - sturdy and not frustrating for a toddler.

My kids, 2 and 4, love this play set. They have played with it nearly every day for a year and the novelty has not worn off. It is simple, so it will not provide hours of play as a stand alone product, but when combined with other Melissa and Doug play food sets the possibilities are endless! i bought this as a two-part gift for my 2yo niece -- she, as well as the other kids at the birthday party -- loved it. they're super cute and durable, seeing as how they're made out of wood and hard plastic. the really cute part was that they have light magnetic circles that help keep them on top of the wood cone foundation. i'm definitely a lover of melissa and doug products, and this one is truly a great one. if your kid loves ice cream, cooking, or playing in a little kitchen, i'd recommend this in a heartbeat.
