My girls (ages 3 1/2 and 5 1/2) received this for Christmas and we have had a lot of fun playing it as a family. They can also play it on their own, unlike some games that require mom or dad to help set up and/or keep the game moving. Even the youngest players have fun matching cards in their hand to spaces on the board, and as they get older they learn to strategize and think ahead with respect to which cards they choose to play. The plastic chips are large and easily manipulated by younger players. The rules are simple, which means that we pretty much opened the box and started playing without anyone getting frustrated. I think this is a very good choice for a young child's game shelf and/or family game night.

My 5 yr. old son got this for Christmas, and he and his brothers and cousins (all boys) LOVE it! It's fairly easy for the 6,and two 7 year olds, but they still enjoy it a lot. They can strategize, which makes it fun. Great buy for kids 3-8 I think.
